Since joining the Commission in 2012, Cecil Pendergrass has worked tirelessly to help Lee County businesses thrive in a challenging economy. He led the charge to reduce regulations and encourage businesses to relocate and/or expand in our community. As a result, Lee County has created a number private sector jobs since 2012 and the unemployment rate has plummeted to 3.7% from 10% when he was sworn into office. Commissioner Cecil Pendergrass continues to work hard toward making Lee County a global destination for job creation.
