Fiscal Responsibility

Cecil Pendergrass has worked hard to balance Lee County’s budget without using reserves or increasing taxes. In 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved a reduction in your property taxes from 4.1506 to 4.0506 mills, the first decrease in 8 years. This is a testament to Commissioner Pendergrass’ commitment to be fiscally responsible through reducing costs, reducing government waste and increasing the tax base.

Cecil Pendergrass will continue to use fiscally conservative principles to maintain a balanced budget and watch over your tax dollars.
